A brilliant manga work that lights a fire in the deepest darkness.
In a large city that was once the capital, one woman is the last one left. She wanders around the city. In the midst of a repetitive daily routine with no way out, yesterday and today become indistinguishable, and the past and present become muddled. Only the future is missing. An apocalyptic world depicted in anticipation of the Corona disaster. Commentary by CHUJO Shohei.
姿、カタチに囚われることなく本質に触れるには
そのものの響きや色を実際に体感することだと思う。
森泉岳土の線にはその画を見つめる私たちの目に
寄り添ってくれる優しさがある。
四角四面に収まらない、ものごとの濃淡や
丁寧に掬わなければこぼれてしまう、儚さをはらんでいる。
それは私たちが諦めかけた夢だったり
前に進もうとしたときに転んでできた傷だったりする。
いまわたしたちは対話や共鳴が必要なのだと思った。

眠りにすべりこむような受動的消極性から、
眠りをくぐりぬけて世界の再生を望見する
能動的積極性へと一八〇度転換します。
なんとも心憎いラストです。

今をこえて未来を指さすような励ましを感じました。

I think it is to actually experience the echoes and colours of the thing.
The lines of Moriizumi Takehito have a gentleness that accompanies our eyes
when we look at his paintings.
The shades of things that do not fit into a square or rectangle,
and the colours that spill out if they are not scooped up carefully.
It contains a fragility that can spill out if not scooped up carefully.
It is a dream that we almost gave up on
or scars caused by a fall when we tried to move forward.
I think we need dialogue and resonance now.
