「夜のほどろ」とは夜明けのこと。墨を使って描いた「サジィ」、はじめて水で描いて墨を落とすという画法に挑戦した「ピアノ」をふくむ初期作品集。目鼻口を描きたくないという理由で登場人物はすべてシルエットで描かれた。WEB上で書籍をつくれるBCCKSというサイトが発行するレーベルから刊行され、現在はデジタルでのみ扱いがある。解説・岡野玲子。
The world of neatly drawn light and shadows woven together,
shows a different expression in each frame, just as the night disappears into the light.
Yoru no hodoro is a literary expression of ’dawn’. This is a collection of Moriizumi’s early works that includes Saji, a work drawn with calligraphy ink, and Piano which was his first work attempt of drawing with water and then, dropping the calligraphy ink on it. All characters were drawn in silhouette because of the reluctance to draw eyes, nose, and mouth. Published under the online label BCCKS that supports the creation of books online. Currently only available in a digital format. Commentary by OKANO Reiko.
